The itinerary

   Day 1

   Arrive Srinagar, transfer to a Dal Lake houseboat, evening shikara ride.

2. 2
   Day 2

   Mughal gardens — Nishat, Shalimar and Chashme Shahi — then Shankaracharya temple at sunset.

   Day 3

   Drive to Gulmarg, gondola Phase 1 to Kongdoori, free afternoon.

   Day 4

   Gulmarg to Pahalgam via the saffron fields of Pampore.

   Day 5

   Pahalgam: Betaab Valley, Aru and Chandanwari by local taxi.

   Day 6

   Return to Srinagar, Lal Chowk and handicraft market.

   Day 7

   Departure transfer to Srinagar airport.
