The itinerary
- 1Day 1
Arrive Leh (11,500 ft). Complete rest for acclimatisation — no sightseeing.
- 2Day 2
Leh local: Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, Hall of Fame and the old bazaar.
- 3Day 3
Sham valley — Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib and the Indus-Zanskar confluence.
- 4Day 4
Drive to Nubra over Khardung La, afternoon at Hunder sand dunes.
- 5Day 5
Diskit monastery, then the long road to Pangong Tso via Shyok.
- 6Day 6
Sunrise at Pangong, return to Leh via Chang La.
- 7Day 7
Free morning in Leh for shopping, evening at leisure.
- 8Day 8
Departure transfer to Leh airport.
